Why Toado exists

Debugging is the biggest timesink in software.

Throughout my career, engineering teams keep getting wrecked by the same thing: a loop of screenshots dropped into Jira or Slack, context scattered across multiple systems, and a QA ticket that forgot to include the console error. When the team (or these days the AI) is handed the bug, it’s missing critical context, it’s halfway written, the title doesn’t describe the problem, or it’s just terribly written and takes people forever to tell what’s happening. On top of that, very often Product Owners spend countless hours writing up tickets.

I want to fix that with Toado. One click captures everything Claude needs, screenshot, console, network, DOM, URL, the whole envelope, and in upcoming versions will even start a new branch for certain kinds of issues. The ticket lands on a kanban board your team already understands. The MCP connector hands it to your favorite AI, the system opens a branch and writes the fix, and the ticket moves itself to In Review. You approve, it’s done.

Additionally, with AI development moving faster and faster, finding issues quickly for less sophisticated developers is important. Making this fast and easy cuts time and hastens their speed of learning.

I’ve been a senior UX designer, a product owner, a mid-level developer, and a CEO, sometimes all at the same time. I’ve built and sold companies in healthcare SaaS, mapping, and real estate. For several years I was the turnaround operator private equity firms called when a healthcare-tech SaaS was about to collapse. I got good at finding the one or two things actually blocking a team from shipping, and bugs, very often, were near the top.
